Salisbury, MD (January 24, 2023) – The police and firefighters out of Salisbury were notified that they were needed at the scene of a traffic crash that took place on Monday morning that ended in injuries.
Just after 7:30 a.m., on January 23, the Salisbury Fire Department responded to the scene of a crash on Route 50.
According to law enforcement, a traffic wreck blocked Route 50 in the area of East Main Street during the morning hours. The Police Department was requested to provide assistance at the scene.
Paramedics were notified that their assistance was needed on-site to treat victims. At least one person involved in the crash was then transported to a local hospital for further medical care.
The Police Department is currently investigating to determine what led to the accident occurring.
