Salisbury, MD (May 8, 2023) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries following a car crash that took place late Saturday afternoon.
Just before 4:00 p.m. on May 6, firefighters from the Salisbury Fire Department Station 1 and Station 2 responded to the scene of an accident on Route 50.
Reports show that three vehicles collided on the roadway, blocking multiple lanes of travel near Civic Avenue.
One person became trapped inside their vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters.
Medics responded to care for all of the injured victims while at the scene. Those who required further medical attention were transported to local hospitals.
At this time, investigations into the accident are underway.
