San Antonio, TX – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-10 Results in One Fatality

San Antonio, TX ( July 8, 2023) – There was a collision on Friday, July 7th, 2023.

The collision occurred on southbound Interstate 10 close to West Avenue at approximately 5:30 p.m.

This is because the driver of a Nissan Rogue unexpectedly slammed on their brakes.

At that time, a Hyundai Santa Fe struck them from behind and pushed them into another lane, where a Dodge Ram then struck them on the passenger side.

All of these collisions co-occurred.

A child sitting in the Nissan Rogue’s rear seat was thrown from the vehicle and taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Doan Khanh Thuc Mai, age 22, has been identified as the person behind the Rogue wheel.
