San Diego, CA – Electric Bike Accident in Gaslamp Quarter Leaves Woman Seriously Injured

San Diego, CA (July 26, 2023) – A woman, aged 56, suffered severe injuries on July 25, 2023, after being hit by a silver 2006 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck while riding an electric bike in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter.

The accident occurred around 11:13 a.m. on Market Street in the 400 block.

The woman had stopped at a traffic light and was hit when she started moving again.

She was rushed to a nearby hospital due to her life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Silverado, a 58-year-old man, stayed at the scene and assisted with the investigation, which is still ongoing.

No further updates on the woman’s condition have been provided.
