San Diego, CA – Fatal Train Accident in Old Town Claims Pedestrian’s Life

San Diego, CA (July 13, 2023) – Tragedy struck the Old Town neighborhood of San Diego on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, when a southbound Coaster train struck and killed a pedestrian.

The incident occurred at approximately 2:48 p.m. at the Old Town Transit Station, as reported by Sgt. Jason King of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.

Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered the body of a man aged 30 to 40.

The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the exact cause of death.

The investigation into the incident is still ongoing as authorities work to gather further information.
