The incident occurred at the intersection of California and Grape Streets in Little Italy.
The pedestrian suffered critical injuries and was rushed to a hospital.
He was later pronounced dead.
The victim’s identity remains undisclosed.
The role of alcohol or drugs in the collision is uncertain.
