San Diego, CA – Pedestrian Struck by Car in Midtown, Sustains Serious Injuries

San Diego, CA (July 17, 2023) -In the early hours of Saturday, July 16, 2023, a 63-year-old man was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident in San Diego’s Midtown area.

The incident occurred in the 3500 block of Kettner Boulevard, where the man was crossing in an unmarked crosswalk.

A 68-year-old man driving a 2015 Honda C-RV hit the pedestrian who failed to yield the right of way.

The driver remained at the scene, and the injured pedestrian was promptly taken to the hospital.

Though the injuries were serious, they were not considered life-threatening.

San Diego Police Department’s Traffic Division is investigating the crash.
