San Diego, CA – Vehicle Accident in Hillcrest Alley: Severe Injuries

San Diego, CA (July 18, 2023) – A 65-year-old man suffered severe injuries when a vehicle struck and dragged him in San Diego on Sunday, July 16, 2023.

Authorities reported the incident at 11:38 a.m. in the west alley of 3800 Park Blvd. in Hillcrest.

The 48-year-old driver turned into the alley from University Avenue, hitting the victim lying on a mattress.

The San Diego Police Department revealed that the victim was dragged approximately 30 feet before being rushed to the hospital.

His injuries included second and third-degree burns as well as a fractured femur.

Further details about the driver and victim are currently unavailable.

The investigation is still ongoing.
