Santa Fe, NM (January 3, 2023) – Two truck drivers reportedly suffered severe injuries during a two-truck collision that occurred in Santa Fe. The crash was reported at the intersection of New Mexico State Route 599 and Camino de los Montoyas on Monday afternoon, January 2nd.

According to reports, two unspecified types of trucks collided when a 58-year-old man heading southbound veered into the northbound lane at the intersection. Emergency crews were quickly called to the scene, where they worked to assist both drivers involved in the crash.

The 58-year-old driver was taken to the University of New Mexico Hospital, where he is listed in serious but stable condition. The driver of the northbound truck, a 31-year-old man, was transported to Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center, where he underwent surgery and is currently listed in critical condition.

Authorities said that there were no passengers inside either truck, and no charges have been filed at this time. Few other details are available.
