Santa Fe Springs, CA (July 17, 2023) – On Sunday morning, July 16, 2023, a terrible accident involving multiple vehicles occurred on the northbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway in Santa Fe Springs.
The accident resulted in the deaths of three people.
The collision occurred at approximately 2:22 in the morning south of the 605 Freeway that runs along the San Gabriel River.
California Highway Patrol reported that three people—two men and one woman in the same vehicle—died at the scene.
As of right now, the investigation into what led to the catastrophic accident is still in progress in its entirety.
