Saugerties, NY (November 14, 2020) – A woman from Rockland County sustained injuries when her 2009 Honda CRV and a northbound train collided in Saugerties on Friday, November 13th.

Officers from the Saugerties Police Department stated that, at about 11:30 p.m., the 35-year-old Montebello resident was traveling westbound along Ulster Avenue when the accident took place.

The woman received treatment from paramedics at the scene and was then transported to the Broadway campus of Westchester Medical Center’s HealthAlliance Hospital in Kingston. From there she was transported to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie for ongoing medical treatment.

Officials reported that no one on board the train was injured during the incident.
