Scott County, VA – Multiple Injuries Follow Head-On Crash on US-23 near Anglers Way

Scott County, VA (July 17, 2023) – Several victims were transported to area hospitals as a result of a car crash that occurred in Scott County on Saturday, July 15.

Just before 3:40 p.m., the Virginia State Police responded to a crash on US Route 23. Investigations show that a head-on collision took place on the southbound side of the roadway near Anglers Way.

The incident prompted officials to close off the road for an extended period.

Multiple victims suffered injuries as a result of this accident. Emergency medical services responded to the scene to care for all of the victims before transporting them to local hospitals.

The crash is currently being investigated.
