Scott County, VA – Two Transported After Crash on Duff Patt Highway near Panoramic Ln

Scott County, VA (July 9, 2023) – Several people suffered injuries following an automobile accident that occurred in Scott County on Saturday, July 8.

At approximately 12:40 p.m., two vehicles collided on Duff Patt Highway in the area near Panoramic Lane. The incident caused severe delays near the top of the mountains.

Seven victims were injured as a result of the accident. Medics were called to the scene to render aid to all of the injured victims. At least one person suffered traumatic injuries as a result of the crash. Ambulances were requested to provide transportation to area hospitals for those who required further care.

At this time, the crash is being investigated. We hope the injured victims are able to recover quickly.
