Scriba, NY (February 26, 2023) – A fatal traffic accident happened in Oswego County on the morning of February 23. Shortly after 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, members of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office were sent to the scene of a car crash involving a pickup truck and a UPS truck.
Information from preliminary investigations shows the UPS truck was headed west on County Route 51A when they entered the intersection with County Route 29.
The vehicle then struck a pickup truck headed south on CR-29. The pickup truck’s driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. The UPS driver suffered no injuries in the accident.
The New York State Police responded to the scene along with Scriba Volunteer Fire Department members and Menter Ambulance.
