Seattle, WA (September 18, 2023) – Southbound lanes of Aurora Avenue North in North Seattle were blocked following a crash on Monday, September 18, 2023.

The incident took place near North 115th Street, close to Evergreen Washelli Cemetery, around 4:20 a.m.

A Seattle Department of Transportation camera captured two damaged cars on the scene.

There’s speculation one car struck a bus shelter.

Fire trucks and Seattle Police had blocked the road for over an hour.

By 5:30 a.m., traffic began flowing again, with only one police car at the scene.

The investigation is still ongoing.
