Seguin, TX – Fatal Head-On Collision on State Hwy 46 N Near Cordova Rd

Seguin, TX (November 21, 2023) – A tragic head-on vehicle crash on State Highway 46 North near Cordova Road resulted in the deaths of two drivers early Sunday, November 19. The Seguin Police Department identified the deceased as Natalie Jean Gage-Avila, 23, of New Braunfels, and Marcus Keshawn Harris, 37, of Luling.

The accident, occurring just before 1 a.m., involved a southbound Jeep Cherokee veering into the northbound lanes and colliding head-on with a Chrysler 300. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. The Chrysler was engulfed in flames, and the Jeep sustained extensive damage. Following the initial collision, two other vehicles struck debris from the accident. EMS treated the drivers of these vehicles but were not hospitalized. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
