Seminole County, FL – Motorcyclist Killed in Collision on Celery Ave

Seminole County, FL (May 22, 2020) – Authorities responded to the scene of a fatal motorcycle collision at an intersection in Seminole County yesterday morning. 

The crash occurred when a Kia Sorrento attempted a left-hand turn onto East Lake Mary Boulevard from Celery Avenue. In doing so, the Kia driver, a 42-year-old who remains unidentified, cut off a motorcyclist who was traveling on Celery Avenue. The motorcycle struck the left-hand side of the Kia, killing the 49-year-old unidentified motorcyclist. The Kia then overturned, injuring the driver.

The injured victim was transported to a nearby medical center for treatment of serious injuries. 

No further information is available and it has not been reported whether or not charges will be filed. 

An investigation into the crash and its circumstances will continue.
