Seminole County, FL (June 11, 2020) – One woman lost her life this past Wednesday when her car was hit by a SunRail train in Seminole County.
The collision occurred around 11:55 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10 near Market Street and Williams Street. The woman was traveling in her SUV and was stopped on the track with the track’s signal arms in the downward position. Her car was then struck by an oncoming train. The reason for the collision remains under investigation by authorities.
The deceased victim’s identity has not currently been released and no further injuries were reported. A police investigation will continue.
