Silver Spring, MD (January 8, 2023) – A fire incident was reported in the Silver Spring area that left one person injured. On January 6, firefighters were called to the scene of a fire incident that occurred on Fenton Street.
According to law enforcement, at around 4 p.m., a fire broke out inside of the Central Apartments, located in the 8400 block of Fenton Street. Authorities responded to the scene of the accident and began extinguishing the blaze.
Two people were treated at the scene for injuries they suffered. At least one person was sent to a local hospital for further medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
