Silver Spring, MD (March 14, 2023) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital following an unreal accident that took place in the Silver Spring area on Monday morning, March 13.
Just before 8:50 a.m., authorities were notified that an automobile accident took place on Maryland State Route 200.
Preliminary reports show that a white sedan in a black SUV collided on the westbound side of Maryland State Route 200. The incident caused some disruptions in the area between New Hampshire Avenue and Layhill Road.
Emergency officials responded to the scene to provide assistance.
Police and firefighters worked to remove the damaged vehicle from the scene of the accident. Paramedics were dispatched to care for victims and transport them to area hospitals.
The Montgomery County Police Department is investigating the accident.
