Socorro County, NM (November 19, 2022) – At approximately 9:06 p.m., on Sunday night, November 13, a car crash reported in Socorro County required an emergency response. Sources in Socorro County say the crash occurred on I-25 between at least two vehicles.
Crews were seen working at the crash site located near milepost 132 a short time after the incident occurred. At least one person was treated for injuries on-site, however, the names of those involved have not been reported.
The southbound interstate lane was shut down while emergency personnel worked in the area. What caused the crash to happen remains under investigation by area authorities at this time.
All traffic headed southbound was re-routed to NM-1. This caused significant traffic delays in the area.
