Sonoma County, CA (September 19, 2023) – A Chevrolet Corvette and a fire engine collided around 3:30 p.m. at King Ridge Road and Tin Barn Road on Monday, September 18, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol reported the crash’s unclear circumstances.

It remains unknown if the fire engine was on an emergency call.

The Corvette’s driver and passenger were airlifted.

One sustained major injuries; the other had moderate injuries.

Firefighter injuries weren’t mentioned in the report.

The investigation is still ongoing.
