South Bronx, NY (May 16, 2023) – A man riding a scooter was involved in a serious accident on the evening of May 15th when he was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of E 174th Street and Webster Avenue. 
The incident occurred at approximately 7:54 p.m., prompting a swift response from law enforcement and emergency medical services.
According to witnesses, the man was crossing the intersection on his scooter when the vehicle struck him for unknown reasons, causing significant injuries.
The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, suffered multiple injuries as a result of the impact. Emergency services were called to the scene, and an ambulance was dispatched to provide immediate medical assistance.
