Sparks, NV (August 3, 2020) – The Nevada Highway Patrol reported that a pedestrian was killed following a deadly collision in Sparks. The fatal pedestrian accident took place on Saturday, August 1, at around 10:00 p.m. Local authorities reported that the site of the crash was located at the intersection of Pyramid Way and Los Altos Parkway. 

The information currently available on the accident is limited at this time. It was reported that the crash involved a pedestrian and a motor vehicle. The pedestrian reportedly suffered fatal injuries in the crash. 

The intersection was closed for several hours while officials cleared the scene. Paramedics were called to the scene to render aid to the injured party, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the accident is still unknown.
