Springfield, MO (July 24, 2023) – Police are investigating a deadly Springfield multi-vehicle crash on Saturday, July 22, 2023.
Multiple vehicles collided at 7 a.m. at Kansas and Sunshine, causing fatalities.
According to the authorities, speed and alcohol contributed to the accident.
A juvenile driving a 2015 Chrysler 200 southbound on Kansas Expressway entered Sunshine Street.
The Chrysler hit Crane, Missouri’s 37-year-old Jonathan Wright’s 2012 Chevrolet Malibu.
The impact caused a chain reaction to a 2011 Mazda 3, a 2003 Honda Accord, and a 2008 Buick Lucerne.
Jonathan Wright died at the crash site.
Authorities are investigating this tragic event.
