A 16-year-old male passenger in the Land Rover sustained injuries and was taken to the same hospital by St. Charles City Ambulance.

Failure-to-Yield Accidents in Missouri
Failure-to-yield crashes are a leading cause of intersection-related collisions across Missouri. When drivers do not obey stop signs or yield the right of way, high-speed crashes often occur, leading to severe injuries. In cases like this one, where a vehicle overturns and a driver is ejected, the risks are even greater.
Seat belt use plays a critical role in crash survivability. In this incident, the driver of the Land Rover was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered serious injuries after being ejected. Missouri law strongly encourages the use of seatbelts to prevent ejections and reduce the severity of crash-related injuries.
Intersection crashes can lead to financial and legal difficulties for those involved. Medical expenses, lost wages, and vehicle repairs can be overwhelming, especially when injuries are severe. Seeking legal guidance can help victims understand their rights and secure the compensation they need for recovery.
