St. Francois, MO (November 21, 2023) – A serious collision on Northbound US-67 at Cash Lane occurred on Monday, November 20, at 5:12 PM, involving two vehicles. A 2023 Kia Rio, driven by 24-year-old Cameron L. Kettler from De Soto, MO, collided with a 2018 Ford Fiesta, driven by 39-year-old Anthony Alexander from Bonne Terre, MO.
The accident happened as Alexander attempted a left turn from the shoulder onto Cash Lane. Kettler, sustaining injuries, was taken to Mercy Hospital South. Anthony Alexander, with serious injuries, and passenger Amanda M. Smith, 31, with moderate injuries, were transported to Parkland Health Center, Bonne Terre.
CPL. A. J. Shibley led the investigation, assisted by St. Francois County deputies. The investigation into the collision is still underway.
