St. Ignatius, MT (September 19, 2023) – A major accident unfolded around 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2023, on Hwy. 93 near Allard’s Stage Stop.
A red Ford F150 attempted to cross to Allard’s when a speeding black Chevrolet sedan hit it.
Both vehicles ended up in Allard’s lot, with the truck in a drainage ditch.
Four people were involved. Three faced severe injuries.
Two were transported to Providence St. Patrick Hospital and one to St. Joseph Medical Center.
Another suffered minor injuries.
Speed and distraction might be crash factors.
The injured parties are still hospitalized.
The truck’s occupants hailed from Iowa, while the sedan was from South Carolina.
