St. Louis, MO (September 19, 2023) – At 12:22 p.m. on Monday, September 18, 2023, a multi-vehicle collision occurred northbound on I-270, south of James S. McDonnell Blvd.
Mitchell P. Bergeron, 33, from Hazelwood, MO, drove a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt and rear-ended a 2007 Kia Sedona driven by Andrea M. Kirsch, 68, from Florissant, MO.
Both cars hit a concrete median.
The Cobalt then collided with a 2022 Dodge Promaster City driven by Michelle R Canale, 47, of Drummond, TN, causing it to overturn.
Bergeron’s vehicle also struck a guardrail.
Andrea Kirsch sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.
Michelle Canale had minor injuries but declined EMS transport.
The investigation is still ongoing.
