St. Louis, MO (February 14, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision on southbound Interstate 270 north of St. Charles Rock Road resulted in injuries Thursday evening.
Emergency responders were quick to the scene, providing care to the injured victim. The crash occurred at approximately 6:35 p.m. when a 2024 Chrysler Pacifica traveling in lane three attempted to change lanes. Officials report that the driver made the maneuver when it was unsafe, striking the left side of a 2011 Honda Pilot traveling in lane four. The impact caused the Honda Pilot to veer off the right side of the roadway, where it overturned.
Medics and fire crews worked to assist those suffering from injuries after the crash. The 34-year-old female driver of the Honda Pilot sustained injuries and was transported by Robertson Fire Protection EMS to Mercy Hospital St. Louis for treatment. The driver of the Chrysler Pacifica, a 27-year-old male from Bridgeton, was not reported injured and was able to drive away from the scene.
The Honda Pilot sustained total damage and was towed from the scene by Bolin Services, while the Chrysler Pacifica had minor damage. Authorities are continuing to investigate the accident to determine any further contributing factors.
