Stanislaus, CA (July 26, 2023) – On the night of July 25, 2023, a tragic two-vehicle car accident occurred on Las Palmas Avenue, just east of Sycamore Avenue in Stanislaus County, resulting in one fatality.
The collision occurred around 6:05 p.m., per the California Highway Patrol report.
The incident involved a red Toyota pickup truck and a white Toyota Camry, both traveling westbound on Las Palmas Avenue.
According to KCRA, the sedan suddenly slowed down and rear-ended the pickup driver.
Consequently, the pickup truck veered off the road, colliding with a tree.
Despite the prompt response from paramedics, the pickup truck driver succumbed to his injuries.
No other injuries were reported, and authorities are investigating the cause of the crash, ruling out drugs and alcohol as factors.
