Staten Island, NY (May 15, 2023) – A startling incident occurred on May 15th when a sedan lost control and careened into the woods at an intersection in Tottenville. The collision involved a civilian vehicle and a Sanitation Department vehicle, resulting in injuries.
At approximately 9:16 a.m., the FDNY and EMS swiftly responded to reports of a two-car crash at the intersection of Amboy Road and Page Avenue.
According to sources from the city Sanitation Department, the collision involved a supervisor’s car from the Department of Sanitation (DSNY). The injured supervisor was immediately rushed to Staten Island University Hospital in Prince’s Bay for urgent medical attention.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
