Burn injuries are some of the most slow-healing and extremely painful injuries. As a result, you could also be entitled to compensation for pain and suffering.

If you were injured or lost a loved one due to an exploding battery, you could be entitled to financial compensation for your injuries. If they needed medical care, your medical bills can be compensated. If you missed work or are unable to go back to work due to your injuries, you could be compensated for lost income.

During the last several years, more items come with the danger of potentially exploding chargers and batteries. Media outlets have covered dozens of stories that expose the hazards of exploding Hoverboard batteries, cell phone batteries, mobility scooter batteries, and numerous other rechargeable devices.

In most instances, the batteries explode while they are charging, and don’t cause significant physical injury. Many others, however, have been killed or hospitalized with explosion and burn-related injuries when the charging battery ruptures during use or sets their apartment or house on fire.

Speak with a New York personal injury lawyer to learn what damages might be available to you.
