Staten Island, NY (April 3, 2023) – One person was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle on Staten Island, according to reports. The collision happened at around 8:01 a.m. on an access road to the Korean War Veteran’s Memorial Parkway.
According to law enforcement, an unidentified person was walking in the area of Drumgoole Road and Arden Avenue when they were struck by a dark-colored SUV. Emergency crews were called to the scene, where they arrived to assist the victim and assess the damage.
Paramedics transported the wounded pedestrian to Staten Island University Hospital in Prince’s Bay, where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. No details are available on the current condition of the victim at this time.
