Staten Island, NY (March 14, 2023) – At least two people sustained injuries during an apartment fire that was reported on Tuesday morning, March 14th. The incident occurred at approximately 9:41 a.m. in the Clifton neighborhood of Staten Island.
Authorities say that approximately 60 firefighters from 12 different units were dispatched to the scene of an apartment building that caught fire at 141 Park Hill Avenue. Firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze, which was brought under control by approximately 10:22 a.m.
The fire was reported on the first floor of the building, which houses seven stories, and at least two people were located with injuries. Reports show that the victims were treated at the scene, and it is unclear as to whether or not they required hospitalization.
No further details have been reported concerning the fire. Investigators are conducting an inquiry to determine the cause of the incident.
