Staten Island, NY (November 20, 2022) – In the early morning hours of November 20, a house fire occurred in Old Town, Staten Island. Reports indicate the blaze occurred at around 1:18 a.m.
Fire crews were dispatched to the scene immediately. Upon their arrival at the scene, located in the 100 block of Raritan Avenue near Bear Street, they found a two-story house with a fire throughout.
Three weather hoses were operated to battle the flames. Two patients were rescued with minor injuries. They were sent to the hospital by ambulance, according to reports. Their identities were not reported.
Approximately two hours later, the fire was under control. Authorities are working to determine how the incident occurred.
