Fatal Motorcycle Accidents in New York

Staten Island, NY – Update: Jordan Urbina Identified as Victim of Great Kills Motorcycle Crash

Statistics from back in 2018 showed that about 154 people were killed in New York motorcycle accidents throughout the course of that year. Deadly motorcycle collisions account for no less than 15% of all traffic-related fatalities across the state, according to official reports. Many other similar traffic-related collisions, such as crashes involving scooters, tend to result in severe injuries or death. This is especially true when a negligent driver is involved.

After losing a loved one in a careless, reckless, or otherwise negligent New York motorcycle accident by no fault of the victim, it may feel like no amount of compensation could make you feel complete again. While it is true that no financial restitution can ever fully make up for your losses, filing a wrongful death claim against the responsible party or parties can go a long way toward helping you find some semblance of peace again.
