Staten Island, NY (May 17, 2023) – A man performing sewer repair on the CSI campus in Willowbrook tumbled 15 feet into a hole when his ladder broke, resulting in injuries.

The incident took place in front of Building 2R, which was under construction and had a collapsed staircase. Despite the severity of the fall, the man remained conscious and alert as emergency responders, including firefighters and EMS units, worked to extract and rescue them.

Videos captured by concerned citizens showcased the presence of first responders diligently working to assist the victim. The incident remains under investigation.
