Stewartville, MN (September 13, 2023) – A two-car collision sent one individual to the hospital on Wednesday.

The crash occurred shortly after 12:30 p.m. at Highway 74 and Winona County Road 22 junction. 

Sandra Kay Bauter, 76, from Stewartville, was driving south while Susan Carol Benedett, 78, from Altura, headed east when they collided. 

Benedetti sustained injuries and received treatment at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. 

Bauter remained unharmed.

St. Charles police, fire, and ambulance assisted at the scene. 

The investigation is still ongoing.
