Stockton, CA (September 18, 2023) – A high-speed crash occurred on Friday, September 15, 2023, at 6:40 p.m. on 5 Freeway just south of Country Club Road.

A 63-year-old woman from Stockton drove a golden Cadillac sedan at high speeds.

She veered across all traffic lanes twice, finally crashing into a black Toyota Tundra and a bridge railing.

Paramedics took the woman to a hospital, but she died from her injuries.

Authorities haven’t released her name.

The Toyota driver remained unharmed.

Whether drugs or alcohol influenced the crash remains unclear.

The investigation is still ongoing.
