Stone County, MO (December 10, 2024) – Authorities are investigating a vehicle collision that occurred one half-mile north of Reeds Spring on Highway 13 at Golf Range Lane. The crash, which took place at approximately 5:30 AM, involved two vehicles and resulted in injuries.
A red 2001 Ford F150, driven by a 19-year-old male from Kimberling City, MO, was traveling northbound when it sideswiped a white 2019 Ford Transit, which was traveling southbound. Both vehicles sustained total damage and were towed by Whitworth Towing. After the collision, the Ford Transit crossed off the left side of the road, while the Ford F150 ran off the right side.
Emergency responders provided medical treatment at the scene. The 19-year-old male driver of the Ford F150 was treated and released for injuries. The driver of the Ford Transit, a 53-year-old male from Branson, MO, was also transported to Cox Medical Center in Branson, MO, with injuries. A 35-year-old male passenger in the Ford Transit, who was uninjured, was also transported to the hospital for further evaluation.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. Both vehicles were equipped with safety devices, and all individuals involved were wearing their seat belts.
