Story County, IA (September 18, 2023) – A man died, and two women sustained serious injuries following a collision in Story County on Saturday, September 16, 2023.

The incident unfolded around 5:39 p.m. at the intersection of 130th Street and 630th Avenue.

Authorities reported a car failed to yield at the intersection, leading a pickup truck to strike it.

The male car passenger died due to the impact.

Both the female car passenger and the pickup’s female driver received medical airlifts due to
severe injuries.

The investigation is still ongoing.
