Suffolk, VA (September 22, 2021) – One man was left severely injured following an accident on Tuesday morning in Suffolk. On September 21, calls for assistance came in regarding a crash on Whaleyville Boulevard.
Reports from authorities show that a collision between a passenger vehicle and a work truck occurred in the 2500 block of Whaleyville Boulevard. The incident caused moderate delays between Copeland Road and Carolina Road as crews worked to clear the area.
The driver of the passenger vehicle had to be extricated by firefighters. The man was then airlifted to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the work truck was treated for minor injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
