Suffolk, VA (January 21, 2023) – A traffic accident reported in the Suffolk area sent two people to area hospitals with injuries on Friday afternoon, January 20. Just before 2:40 p.m., the Suffolk Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on Portsmouth Boulevard, Route 58.
Reports show that two vehicles collided in the 1900 block of Portsmouth Boulevard. The incident caused both vehicles, a light-colored sedan and a red sedan, to go off the road and crash into multiple trees.
Two people were hurt as a result of the accident. One of the victims had to be extricated from the vehicle. Both victims were transported to local hospitals for medical care.
The police department is currently investigating the accident.
