Suitland, MD (April 5, 2023) – One person was fatally injured in a car crash that occurred in the Suitland area on Saturday, April 1.
Just after 1:40 a.m., emergency crews were notified that a collision occurred on Allentown Road.
Reports show that two vehicles collided in the 5900 block of the roadway during the early morning hours. The incident caused delays in the area of Leon Street.
One person involved in the crash, identified as 43-year-old Tony Manning from Waldorf, was fatally injured. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the second vehicle was injured and transported to a local hospital for emergency care.
The incident is being investigated by officials at this time.
