Suitland, MD (March 18, 2023) – The police confirmed that 65-year-old Maurice Berry has died as a result of an automobile accident that took place in Suitland on Thursday evening.
At approximately 10:25 p.m. on March 16, the Prince Georges County Police Department responded to the scene of an accident on Pennsylvania Avenue.
According to reports, Berry was driving north on Pennsylvania Avenue during the evening hours. As his vehicle passed through the intersectional Spaulding Avenue, it collided with an SUV.
Berry was pronounced dead at the scene due to his injuries. The driver of the SUV was treated for minor injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
