Sumas, WA (September 18, 2023) – Timothy Garrison, 19, from Ferndale, sustained injuries in a vehicle crash on Sunday, September 17, 2023.

The incident occurred around 7 p.m. at the intersection of Van Buren Road and East Badger Road.

A car heading south on Van Buren Road disregarded a stop sign and collided with an eastbound vehicle on East Badger Road.

Both vehicles’ occupants weren’t wearing seat belts.

The southbound car’s driver, from Tacoma, and his six passengers went to PeaceHealth St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Garrison also received treatment at the same hospital.

The investigation is still ongoing.
