Surfside Beach, SC (May 18, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision involving a Horry County Police Department unit occurred early Sunday morning near the intersection of Holmestown Rd and Hwy 17 Bypass. Horry County Fire Rescue was dispatched at 1:27 a.m. First responders, including paramedics, assessed and treated individuals hurt in the crash.
The crash involved confinement and required extrication operations. Two individuals were transported to the hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
