Takoma Park, MD – Christina Thomas Loses Life in Pedestrian Crash on New Hampshire Ave near Glenside Dr

Takoma Park, MD (July 9, 2023) – A 71-year-old woman lost her life as a result of a pedestrian accident in Montgomery County.

At around 12:00 a.m. on July 3, the Montgomery County Police and firefighters responded to a crash that occurred on New Hampshire Avenue.

Reports show that a 71-year-old pedestrian was struck by a gray 2006 Nissan Pathfinder on New Hampshire Avenue after the vehicle left the roadway and drove through a bus stop shelter near Glenside Drive.

The pedestrian, identified as Christina Thomas, was critically injured. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
