Taos, NM (June 29, 2020) – Law enforcement officers with the Taos Police Department have now released the identity of a man who was killed in a cement truck crash last Wednesday, June 24th. George Medina, 54, was killed in the crash that took place on U.S. Highway 64, in the vicinity of mile marker 258.
According to officials, Medina was hauling concrete in a Medina & Sons Concrete and Sand truck when the vehicle left the roadway. Medina was at least partially ejected from the vehicle. First responders pronounced him deceased at the scene.
The official cause of the crash is under investigation.
